In line with the Department of Education’s guidelines on Early Registration, Tambo Elementary School – Main successfully conducted the Early Registration Kick-Off to officially begin the enrollment of incoming Kindergarten and Grade 1 learners for the School Year 2026-2027. The activity aimed to inform parents and guardians about the importance of early registration and to identify children in the community who are ready to start school.
The day started with a parade led by teachers, NTPs, SPTA and community partners, serving as an outreach activity to encourage parents to register their children early. After the parade, a short program was held at the school. During the program, our LIS Coordinator, Ma’am Liza Manzano, discussed the purpose of Early Registration, while our School Head, Ma’am Lanely S. Solito, officially opened the registration period, which will run until February 27, 2026, and highlighted the importance of early registration for incoming learners.
SK Chairwoman and Committee on Education, Robelyn Joy Samson, attended the program on behalf of Barangay Captain Jenny Quizon. She expressed the barangay’s full support for the school, donated T-shirts for the activity and assured us that the barangay will continue to help the school and be there for its needs.
Ma’am Aileen Y. Gregorio, SPTA President, also actively participated in the activity by encouraging parents to enroll their children and supporting the registration process.
Child Mapping was conducted by teachers identifying all school-age children in the community to ensure that every eligible learner can enroll. This activity helped the school reach out to children who might not yet be enrolled.
After the opening program, early registration officially began, with parents and guardians assisted by teachers and NTPs in filling out the registration forms. The process was smooth and organized, thanks to the coordinated efforts of our school head, teachers, NTPs and the SPTA.
The activity was a success because of the active cooperation of school staff, parents, community partners and the SPTA, reflecting a shared commitment to providing quality and accessible education for all learners.
