Tambo Elementary School-Main, stands on a four thousand four hundred seventy six square meter (4,476 sq.m.) lot. It started as a primary school in 1946 under San Dionisio Elementary School, now known as Parañaque Elementary School Central. Five years later, it became a complete elementary school and was formally known by the name Tambo Elementary School – Main. TES-Main is currently part of Parañaque District II. Every year, the school constantly produces winners in the different academic and non-academic competitions. Physical facilities improvements are continuously programmed to address the increasing needs of pupils. Teacher training is also given priority to ensure that the faculty is kept abreast of the latest trends in education. Pupils are also empowered to conduct activities for co curricular development. The Supreme Pupil Government is organized to oversee pupil-led programs. Aside from the SPG, other clubs exist in the school such as Young Writers, Math and Science Club, Scouting, Drum & Lyre, Choir and Athletes’ Club. Networking and linkages are constantly strengthened and enriched to get more support for the different development programs of the school. With the organization of the Homeroom Parents Teachers Association(HRPTA) and the General PTA, good relationship with stakeholders is maintained to ensure that maximum participation is gained that will lead to the over-all goal of the school community to provide quality educational services to our most important clientele, the school children.
